Corporate Chair Massage Event Planning and FAQ

Here are the most common questions regarding our event planning and execution. All Corporations will have an in depth consultation to be sure the event is right for your and your employees/guests.

How long should each chair massage be?

Chair massage events are booked by the total amount of time needed for all desired employees to receive a chair massage. If there is only one therapist available for the event, it may need to be split over multiple days. This can allow for teams to continue workflow without complete disruption and can be kept around typical lunch breaks. Timing and preference will be discussed prior to event confirmation. Please review the example below:

Number of Employees: 30

Preferred Chair Massage Time: 15 Minutes

Number of Hours Required: 7.5 hours

Preferred Days of Service: Monday at 11:00am - 2:15pm; Wednesday at 11:00am - 2:15pm

Total Cost: $637.50 at ($85.00/hour)

20 Minutes

20 minutes is the industry standard for a chair massage. Your massage therapist can effectively address most of the back and neck and preform more specific work on 1-2 problem areas of theclient.

15 Minutes

A 15-minute session is perfect to have focused massage work while not taking up too much time. It allots for a relaxing massage and specific work in trouble areas. A 15-minute massage session is an effective time frame to work out strained muscles and tendons to help avoid workplace injury.

10 Minutes

This is a great option if your company has a small budget and you need to get more people into the chair without overspending. Keep in mind that shorter massages can be more difficult to schedule. If your employees are stuck in calls or running late they may miss all of their massage appointment.

With this option in particular planning your time slots for your employees before-hand is extremely important.

5 Minutes

This option is meant for high volume events. Some examples include event expos, conventions, tournaments, and so on. Your goal is to have as many people enjoy a chair massage to improve overall satisfaction without the hassle of sign-ups. You can even have a therapist by your side at a tabling or corporate event to attract leads and improve sales.

How much space do we need to provide for the event?

Privacy isn't an issue because clients will be fully clothed for chair massage. It would be best to have a quiet, restful place, but it doesn't have to be a separate room. As long as there is enough space for the massage therapist to move around the chair massage can go anywhere.

Should I add the Percussion Massage to my event?

Percussion massage at Molder and Forge is preformed with the Hypervolt Massager that

concentrates targeted pulses of pressure into the muscle/tissue of the body. Percussive stimulation provides comprehensive relief by reaching both the superficial and deep muscle fibers. The Hypervolt line delivers three speeds of rapid percussion almost silently (great for in the office) – ideal to relieve tension and promote blood-flow to stagnant areas of the body.
